1. What is GORE-TEX AccessWear Service?

GORE-TEX AccessWear Service is a subscription jacket membership service that is currently a concept being tested and is not operational. We are testing the idea of a service designed to give customers access to GORE-TEX Jackets from multiple brands without having to purchase them. While it’s not yet a launched platform, this concept helps us understand whether customers would like this service and understand what customers value most in high-performance outdoor wear, meeting real-world demands sustainably.

2. Although this is only a concept test, how much would the GORE-TEX AccessWear Service subscription cost if launched? 

While this is not a launched platform we are testing the concept at a price of $49.99 per month, plus tax where applicable. This price is subject to change upon service launch.

 3. What is included?

It includes one (1) jacket to rent at a time with the ability to swap the jacket up to four (4) times within a year. That is access to 4 different jackets within a year. It is our intent that customers will be able to pause or cancel subscriptions at any time.

When the platform is live if they choose to pause or cancel their subscription they will need to return the jacket that they acquired. Other features of the service include: free care and maintenance when needed, free shipping and returns, no late or damage fees.

4. What am I signing up for? 

On the website you can sign up to be added to a waitlist for the service and will potentially be contacted for a beta launch. You can fill out your name and email as well as be asked a few questions around your preferences and demographics.

5. When will this platform launch? 

The launch date for this platform is to be determined and not guaranteed. We will keep users updated about the future launches through email communications.

6. If I like a jacket can I buy it? 

As of right now there is no ability to buy a jacket but that may change when the concept launches fully.

7. What happens if something is wrong with a jacket? 

For this test users will not be able to receive a jacket, but for future launches if a user has an issue with a jacket they can contact the team in charge of the platform to explain the issue and have it replaced or swapped for free.

8. Can I get more than 1 jacket at a time?

As of right now the option is limited to one (1) jacket at a time. However, for future launches this may change and there may be different tier options of the subscription.

9. Can I cancel the waitlist sign-up?

Yes, users can request removal from the waitlist at any time by contacting our support team.

10. What happens if I sign up but the platform doesn’t launch?

If the platform does not proceed to launch, users on the waitlist will be notified, and their data will be securely deleted as per our privacy policy guidelines.

11. What types of jackets will be available?

If the platform moves forward, we aim to include a variety of GORE-TEX® Jackets from multiple outdoor brands, covering different styles and performance levels suited for various outdoor activities.

12. Can I invite others to join the waitlist?

Users are welcome to share the waitlist link with friends or family who might also be interested in early access.

13. How will you ensure the jackets meet quality and cleanliness standards?

If the platform launches, all jackets will undergo rigorous quality checks and professional cleaning between uses to ensure they meet high standards for quality and hygiene.
